After randomly walking around and ignoring all the hawkers for "massage sir" I randomly decided to walk into this one. The prices are fantastic, starting at around VND350k $15. I was assigned therapist 12 and she was fantastic. I was amazed how much power were in her hands. True sign of a skilled professional. Also, they are set up here to walk backs highly recommend it if you haven't experienced it before. I was curious how she was maintaining her balance when she was applying pressure to my shoulders. After I flipped over I notice the metal apparatus secured to the ceiling. The primary reason I go to massage therapy is for some nagging injuries that are joint/tendon related tennis/golfer's elbow. She addressed these concerns, but most importantly she knew how to trace out the tendon to work it. Day 2 looking for tired muscle massage and foot treatment, hotel organised for Lotus Foot Massage at 120 LeLoi at between to which included tips we left sorly dissapointed and i really mean SORE. Massage had no idea and the pedicure was something my 4 year old grand daughter could do better. Day 3 with my neck out and my wife's back and hip disabled we went looking for a foot and hand treatment. Found walking Bui Vien heaps of pamphlet throwers decided on Relax Skin Care at 53 Bui Vien for a Foot Scrape at skin etc and my wife had a parrafin treatment and foot scrub and nail colour very good treatment but the hassle about the tips were over the top. Day 5 decided to try Hoang Thy Beauty Salon and unbelievable, massage knew exactly what Thai massage was, fixed my neck and my wifes back and at was not too bad and didn't mind tipping good as we will be back every second day until we leave. Re Great Massage in District 1 11 years ago I'll agree with this, we usually stay in one of the alleys off PNL, and frequent Hoang Thy, this year we will be staying near the market, but we will still be frequenting Hoang Thy, we're always there for a massage or hair wash, or some other treatment just because they are so honest, nice and do great massage. Not only that, when we went back in 2010 with the kids, the manager or whatever she is, recognised us from 2008, and said "you have been here before, yes? First time trying and im impressed. i just did a Thai and foot massage for hrs and felt good afterwards. Lady Ling/Linh and staff were friendly. Normally I don't like massage but I was having serious muscle sore due to exercising. the masseurs helped a lot to relax my muscles. The products they use were also of good quality.
